

Senior Researcher in Theoretical Photonics, Simulation and Initial Prototyping

What are we looking for?
As part of the groundbreaking Tarranix Project, we are seeking a senior researcher with experience in advanced photonics who is capable of:

Evaluating the scientific feasibility of a 3D optical transistor with six logical states based on light polarization
-
Simulating its behavior using specialized software (training provided if needed)
-
Developing and characterizing an initial functional prototype at the millimetric ornanometric scale to validate its basic performance
This is a strategic position that will define the technological core of a one-of-a-kind photonic chip, with the potential to overcome silicon limitations and offer a viable alternative to quantum computing.
Responsibilities
-
In-depth review of the state of the art in multilevel photonic logic and advanced optical materials

Development and characterization of the physical and mathematical model of the proposed transistor
-
Writing of the scientific feasibility report of the device
-
Functional simulation using tools such as Lumerical, COMSOL, or similar (with team support)
-
Design and implementation of an initial physical prototype (optical bench or microfabrication)
-
Execution or support of the experimental optical characterization of the prototype: spectral analysis, insertion loss, polarization response, etc.

Comparative analysis with conventional electronic transistors

Collaboration with the chip design team for future scaling phases

Contribution to scientific publications, patent writing, and participation in international conferences
Requirements
Education
PhD in Physics, Photonics, Applied Optics, Nanoscience, or related fields
Experience
-
5+ years of research in advanced photonics, theoretical optics, or optoelectronic device design

Experience in designing and experimentally characterizing integrated photonic circuits

Relevant publications in international scientific journals

Experience in prototyping (millimetric or nanometric scale) is desirable, but not required
Skills

Frontend 3D Developer – React & Immersive Environments

We’re looking for a frontend developer with experience in React and web 3D technologies who shares this vision. Someone with strong technical skills and a sensitivity for user experience. A team player who enjoys tackling complex challenges and can turn ideas into interactive interfaces and 3D environments accessible from any browser.
Purpose of the Role
The main objective of this role is to develop and implement immersive interfaces and experiences for metaverse projects using React and advanced 3D web technologies.
This position is key to building products that combine 3D visualization, user interaction, and technical performance, supporting the project’s creative and technological growth.
Main Responsibilities

Develop user interfaces using React.js, including tools such as Next.js and Redux

Integrate graphic engines such as Three.js, Babylon.js, or React Three Fiber

Connect experiences with REST APIs and WebSockets for real-time interaction

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces

Optimize performance and load of 3D scenes in web browsers
Additional Responsibilities

Implement support for WebXR, AR, or VR as needed

Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and development best practices

Document code and maintain project structure

Support backend and deployment tasks if needed (Node.js, Docker, Vercel, etc.)
Required Education

Minimum: University degree or higher vocational training in Computer Engineering,Web Development, or related fields

Additional preferred training: Courses in React.js, game development,WebGL/WebXR, or 3D UX
Recommended Experience

At least 1 year working with React in production

Experience in projects involving 3D engines or interactive web development

Experience in video games, virtual reality, or digital innovation sectors is a plus

Experience with Node.js, databases, and cloud deployment is desirable

3D Technical Artist (specialized in web-based videogames)

Your Role in the Team
You will be responsible for modeling and optimizing low poly 3D assets to ensure they perform well in web browsers.
Your work will help bring our virtual world to life, balancing visual aesthetics with technical efficiency.
Responsibilities

Low poly 3D modeling with Blender, optimized for web environments (WebGL,Three.js, Unity, etc.)

Texturing models in Substance Painter using PBR maps

Applying materials and shaders, basic rigging, and weight painting
