KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Experimental Design and Implementation

Design and execute experimental setups for photon-based quantum computing, which includes developing optical components and control systems.
Integrate hardware components with software interfaces for streamlined quantum information processing.

Experimental Design and Implementation

Experimentation and Valdation

Perform experiments to assess and validate the performance of quantum computing prototypes using techniques such as quantum state tomography and entanglement generation.
Develop protocols for error correction and fault-tolerant schemes to boost the reliability and scalability of photon-based quantum systems.

Engineering and Documentation

Collaborate with industrial engineers to devise scalable manufacturing processes for quantum computing hardware.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all design specifications, experimental procedures, and results, ensuring thorough technical reports and publications.

REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background

Possess a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Final year students with scholarships who are highly motivated are also encouraged to apply.

Technical Expertise

Solid theoretical knowledge in quantum mechanics, quantum information theory, and computational mathematics.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for numerical simulations and algorithm development.

Understanding of hardware design principles and hands-on experience with electronic instrumentation and control systems.
Experienced in experimental physics, particularly in optics, quantum optics, or photonics.

Familiar with quantum computing concepts, including qubits, quantum gates, and quantum algorithms.

Skills and Abilities

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
