
3D Technical Artist (specialized in web-based videogames)

Our goal is to offer an interactive experience where anyone can learn, explore, and connect in a visual and accessible way. The project is rapidly growing, with new spaces, customizable avatars, and features designed to make learning an immersive and engaging experience.
We are looking for someone who enjoys turning ideas into form and texture. A person with an artistic eye and a technical mind, who feels comfortable working in a team and knows how to bring environments, objects, and characters to life in a way that works smoothly on the web.
Your Role in the Team
You will be responsible for modeling and optimizing low poly 3D assets to ensure they perform well in web browsers.
Your work will help bring our virtual world to life, balancing visual aesthetics with technical efficiency.
Responsibilities

Low poly 3D modeling with Blender, optimized for web environments (WebGL,Three.js, Unity, etc.)

Texturing models in Substance Painter using PBR maps

Applying materials and shaders, basic rigging, and weight painting

Designing UX/UI elements that support intuitive user experiences

Creating sketches and concept art for characters or props

Using Marvelous Designer for fabric and clothing simulations
Additional Skills Valued

Basic animation (pose-to-pose, idle/walk cycles)

Rigging experience or basic knowledge of Unity or Unreal Engine
Required Education

Minimum: Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree, or Higher Vocational Training in 3D Design, Animation, Fine Arts, Digital Arts, or related fields

Preferred: Courses or certifications in texturing, rigging, 3D animation, or UX/UIdesign
Recommended Experience

At least 1 year of experience in real projects such as video games, interactive environments, or 3D web experiences

Previous experience in video game development (indie, commercial, or academic) is highly valued
-
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams or animation studios is a plus
-
No prior experience is required for internship positions, but academic or personal projects will be taken into account
